Just saw this one on Dealextreme today, the Dstt for $19.90!! Thats an all time low, bottom basement price for a decent quality Nintendo DS flash card. I just checked last week and it was $24.90! I’ve used a few different cards, the Supercard, R4, and Ezflash V, but this Dstt card is right up there with usability and compatibility. The price of the R4 is anywhere from double to more than that right now, and any of the other competitors are about $10 or $15 more, and lets not forget Dealexteme’s free shipping. It cost me about $35 for one of these last month, but man, $19.90, thats a crazy price. Thats actually less than most actual DS games.
As for the performance of the Dstt, it even ran castlevania perfectly fine, the bane of most of the other flash carts up to this point due to the drop in frame rate and lagginess that it elicits when run on any standard microSD card. This probably due to the Dstt’s ability to use microSD HC cards, but for this low price, its hard to find anything poor to say. And with the GUI on the touch screen, as opposed to the upper screen as most of the other cards had up to this point, it definitely makes the most efficient use of the technology built into the NDS. If you haven’t picked up a flash card for your NDS to run homebrew software or your “back-ups” of games yet, now’s the time to hit up this awesome deal!!
Here’s the link to the deal itself, and also a video about the interface below.
