The MX620 from Logitech is pretty elegant looking unit for $29.99 (Regular Price: $89.99) with a weighted mouse wheel which translates into nearly friction-less scrolling or can also be set to use a ratcheting-scrolling mechanism. And as a wireless unit, it uses a 2.4GHZ frequency and comes with a micro-reciever to plug into a USB port on the system for that. Battery life is listed as up to 1 year, and longer if the on/off switch is used on the mouse itself, and there’s a battery indicator on the top of the MX620 as well, so you’ll always know how much juice you’ve got remaining.
